Apple Dumplings:

- 6 apples cut up and peeled
- Whipped cream for serving
- 2 Cups (250g) flour
- 2 teaspoon (10g) baking powder
- ½ teaspoon (2.5g – a big pinch) salt
- 6 Tablespoons (85g) butter + extra for the filling
- ¾ Cup (180ml) milk
- 2 Cup (400g) white sugar
- ½ Cup (110g) brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons (15g) flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 Cup (470ml) boiling water
- ½ Cup (114g – one stick) butter
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla

Tip: Use ready-made pie dough for the Pastry, quicker and taste just
as good.
You could also put 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon by the apples.
For garnish you could also use
2 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted.
This recipe goes great with some vanilla ice cream.
