Chocolate Caramel Apples Recipe

Ingredients: 

• 10 small Granny Smith Apples
• Homemade Caramel, see list below
• 12 oz. milk chocolate or white chocolate chips
• Assorted toppings for coating
• 10 craft sticks or twigs

Homemade Caramel:

• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 cups corn syrup
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Tips: Don't dip your apples in the chocolate! Use a rubber spatula to spread your chocolate onto your caramel. To make the caramel stuck great, (sand the apples before dipping) use sandpaper to rough up the apple.
