Italian Bread Recipe

Servings 1 loaf, Cook+Prep Time: 2 hr 50 min

Ingredients: 

    • 5½ cups bread flour
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 2 teaspoon salt
    • 2 packages dry yeast
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1¾ cups warm water (120 -130 F)



     

    Tips: Cool bread on a wire rack to prevent it from getting soggy from steam accumulating on the bottom of the pan.
