Meyer Lemon Macadamia Nut Tart

Ingredients: 


For Crust:
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
For Filling:
  • 7 large egg yolks
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup (7 ounces) sugar
  • 1/2 cup grated fresh Meyer lemon zest (from 4 to 5 lemons)
  • 2/3 cup fresh Meyer lemon juice (from 4 to 5 lemons)
  • Pinch salt
  • 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream, chilled
